Made with a Canadian wild cherry top, back, and sides and semi-gloss finish, the Excursion Natural Folk SG is one good-looking acoustic guitar.

Made in Canada, the Seagull Excursion Series sets a benchmark for affordable North American made acoustic guitars. As with all models in this series, the Excursion Natural Folk SG features Canadian Wild Cherry Top, Back & Sides made of a 3-layer lamination of real hardwood. Other features include a burn stamped rosette, semi-gloss Custom Polished finish, and Seagull Slim neck with slimmer nut width.

Extremely pleased with both the instrument and the service. I live in the Western Maine Foothills of Oxford County (the middle of nowhere), yet the guitar was delivered 24 hours after I placed the order - and in perfect condition. Always been a Seagull fan anyway, and this one is a no-frills, no-nonsense little gem. Sounds much bigger than it is with PLENTY of bottom end and full, well-rounded tone. Great timbre, all the sustain that one could want, very comfortable neck. Please note that because this is a very basic, no frills guitar, that some of the categories below (features, wow factor) are not relevant.
