Schecter Tempest Custom-L Customer Review

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This thing is gonna see a lot of use in the studio this coming summer, Havent gigged with it yet, but it's not to heavy and has great tone and stays in to tune so i'm sure ill be doing plenty of gigging with this.

Sound
I'll put it this way, i bought this from amazon and they ended up sending the wrong color, i was extremely bummed out, but i decided to plug it in anyways, patching guitar rig onto this thing and i almost started weeping it was so beautiful. I instantly forgot it was the wrong color and claimed it as my 1st in line guitar

Features
I really like the push/pull feature, its good for clean, chordy stuff. It adds a bit a variety to your tone. As for the hardware very nice.(gold hardware)Only problem is the grover tuners take a little getting used to for grover tuner newbies. I snapped to strings. But i was able to replace the strings quickly amd easily. The tuners are overall solid though, stays in tune through the roughest of my solos.

Ease of Use
I got a sound i loved out of this thing in about 2 minutes, but this thing keeps showing things i didnt know it could do every time i play it. Awesome action, very low, and very smooth.

Quality
Near perfect. the top of my head has a small crack in it, only noticeable if you really look at it though. so still gonna give it a 10

Value
It worth every dollar I spent on it. read more

Manufacturer Support
like i said i bought it from amazon so i cant speak for zzsounds, but i complained and they refunded me 20% of what i spent. thats 150$ i can use on other things. So the wrong color was definitely worth it.

The Wow Factor
Its very eye catching , the gold sparkles in the light beautifully, and the black enhances that sparkle with a glossy sheen.
