The Schecter Diamond-P 5 Custom 5-String Electric Bass Guitar is a rock solid instrument with loads of versatility and style. With a bridge pickup that consists of two Jazz style pickups with the ability to split the coil for classic single coil tone, and a P-style pickup for a deep, high output tone, you can get virtually any sound you could ask for with the Diamond P5 Custom.

Grover Rotomatics Tuners

The original Rotomatic with an improved higher ratio gearing. The 18:1 ratio provides for finer tuning and greater stability. The finer gears provide smoother tuning and a higher degree of backlash elimination.

Rosewood Fingerboard

The most common fretboard, Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is richer in fundamental than Maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.

Schecter SuperRock Bass (bridge)/Schecter P (neck) Pickups

Bridge: Two Jazz pickups in one casing. In two Coil mode the Midrange is powerful with a nice punch. When Push-Pull Tone knob is pulled up the Single coil tone is classic with Jazzy lows and highs. Neck: Over wound coils with Ceramic magnets give this pickup configuration a hot output that will dominate any standard P-Bass pickup. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Schecter products.

Sound: Punchy and full, fat but tight, great pitch recognition great B string Feature: I kinda wish it had a balance control instead of two volumes.... but it works great Ease of Use: Plug and Play.... batteries not required. Quality: Very well built. Solid, feels real. Mine was missing the String retainer on the headstock, so I put my own on... no biggie. Value: GREAT BASS and not because of the price point. At this price point Amazing BASS!!!! Manufacturer Support: It took a while for them to get back to me about the string retainer, but when they did they were ON IT !!!! (they told me they missplaced my phone #.... I can understand that... no prob.)

Overall: Much better than I EVER thought it could be...REALLY a NICE Bass..Plays GREAT,Looks GREAT,and sounds Pretty Darn good for a passive Bass..I am VERY impressed with the HIGH quality of this instrument..Should cost twice the price and still would be a Deal...BUY IT YOU WON'T BE SORRY!!!
