The Schecter Damien Elite Avenger Electric Guitar offers a seriously menacing look and unbelievable tone and sustain that beats anything in its price range. With a mahogany body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, the Damien Elite Avenger produces a great warm tone that is very beefy and has great clarity. The super popular EMG Active 81/85 humbuckers have set the bar high with massive tone, high output, and a bridge pickup that will cut through any mix.

Grover Rotomatics Tuners

The original Rotomatic with an improved higher ratio gearing. The 18:1 ratio provides for finer tuning and greater stability. The finer gears provide smoother tuning and a higher degree of backlash elimination.

Rosewood Fingerboard

The most common fretboard, Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is richer in fundamental than Maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.

EMG Active 81/85 Pickups

One of the most popular EMG's the 81 is the one that started a revolution. Utilizing powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils, the tone was designed with detailed intensity, incredible amounts of high end cut and fluid sustain. Traditionally used in the bridge position, this pickup will make your leads slice right through even the densest mix. When used in both neck and bridge positions the sound can only be described as blistering. Recommended pairings include the classic 81/85 setup. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Schecter products.

"BUY IT. Just BUY IT."

Sound: I'm just going to say it - BUY THIS GUITAR. Before Schecter realizes how amazing it is, and could feasibly get away with charging twice the amount. Feature: This guitar comes equipped with Grover tuners, which are the best, in my humble opinion. The EMGs come standard with this guitar - what more could you ask for? Ease of Use: It plays like satin, and is as comfortable and smooth as any top-of-the-line PRS I've played. I play mostly metal, and while this guitar is perfect for the most brutal of extreme metal, the clean tones you can get are spectacular as well. Very versatile, thanks to the active EMGs.I own several guitars of many different varieties, and this is my new favorite! Quality: Although this guitar is more delicate than most of the other guitars I own, it's solid and extremely well-made, and could stand up to brutish stage techs that carelessly throw your gear around. Value: The price is unbelievable. One of the best guitars I've ever played, and I'm not even going to add "for the price". The Wow Factor: I bought the metallic black finish, and it's beautiful. The inlays are gorgeous, and the general look of the guitar is pretty, yet foreboding. Lightweight and comfortable to play. Overall: This guitar converted me to Schecter-ism. If something happened to this one, I'd get the same one.
