Schecter CSH1 Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar
The Schecter CSH1 guitar is an outstanding combination of a set-neck, semi-hollow body with f-holes and a flame maple top, and fat-sounding Duncan Designed HB-101 humbuckers. The SCH1 also has a TonePros Tom bridge that strings through the body. The Neck is 3-piece maple and the 22-fret fingerboard (25.5-inch scale) is rosewood with pearl split-crown inlays. Schecter tops it all off with gold hardware including excellent Grover tuners.
The Tonepros Bridge
Tonepros feature a couple of nearly invisible setscrews that simply lock the bridge to the mounting posts. The idea is simple, but the benefits are exponential. Solidify your bridge in place like stone, and it will never fall off again! No more worrying about scratching the face of your guitar or readjusting the intonation and action after a simple cleaning or changing of strings. Your guitar will sustain and play in tune like never before. Because our bridges secure solidly in place, your intonation will be much more accurate, and stay that way!
Schecter Guitars FAQ
Where are Schecter guitars and basses made?
Diamond Series guitars and basses are manufactured in South Korea, and 100% set up in the USA, in Schecter's Burbank, CA facility. Schecter successfully fuses South Korean efficiency with real American craftmanship when setting up your guitar.
What brand & gauge strings are used on the Diamond Series
All Diamond Series 6-Strings come factory strung with GHS Nickel Wounds. (10/13/17/26/36/46). Schecter Basses also use GHS Nickel strings (.45/.65/.85/.105) 5-String Basses add a .125 for the low 'B'. Schecter 7-String guitars electrics use a .056 as the low 'B'.
What are Duncan Design humbuckers?
Duncan Design pickups are manufactured by an outside factory to the exact specifications and manufacturing methods of Seymour Duncan. Unlike some import pickups, the Duncan Design pickups use Alnico magnets (for warmth & tone) and are 4-conductor, which means that any Diamond Series guitar can have an after-market mini toggle or push-pull pot added for splitting the humbucker for a cleaner, single-coil tone.
