"Excellent guitar, Excellent price"
Feature:
2 humbuckers, toggle switch for switching between pick up's.. coiltapping, ..so you can use the humbuckers as single coils as well, ... mahoganny body, rosewood fingerboard, ... seymour pickups, ..the factory pickups are decent., ...tuners are great, ..stays in tune very well, ... very light guitar

Quality:
it looks pretty sturdy, ..haven't had any problems with it so far, in fact, it recently survived a house fire, smoke damage etc, ...but it still plays and works very well......i've had it now for more than a year. .... great finish and fit, ... real beauty to look at, ...i have the black version, ...i want to get another one in the future, ...in white :) ...i would depend on this guitar for live use, ..but it's wise to always have a backup

Value:
in terms of value,...this gets a 10/10, ...excellent value. ...lot of people are getting it because of that., ...it's a really really good guitar considering the price and the way it plays, ..it would still be worth buying even if it was twice the price, ...i am hard to please when it comes to electric guitars, ...but i really liked this one, especially since i got a good deal on it.

Desirability:
this is a very very sexy guitar, ..simple, .classy, ..... i have fallen in love with it, .. it's a keeper.

Sound:
i would characterize the sound of this guitar as very "balanced", ..it avoids extremes.....something in the middle of a les paul and strat sound .... i really like the sound., ...you can get some variety as you switch from the neck pick up to the bridge pick up, ..or use both, ..also with coil tapping, you can get another variation of sound....it's somewhat versatile. ...most people i know who have played this guitar absolutely love it.

Overall:
I don't think i will ever give this guitar up, ..it is a very special instrument, ..it realy has something nice about it, ...very balanced in sound, ...so easy to play, ...great intonation, ..no dead spots, ...looks amazing, ....and the price is great, ... all in all, i would say this is probably one of the best, if not THE best guitar out in the market, in this price range, ..and even compared to guitars more than twice it's price, .... get it !

"A Stunning Blend of Beauty, Practicality, and Performance."
Feature:
Set in neck makes 100% difference, you'll wonder how you ever took a solo without it. The coil allows a nice spectrum of sound and is very easy to use, as it is integrated very nicely into the tone pot.

Quality:
I'm looking at my Schecter right now, and I cant really think of what to write, because each time I glance at it, I am overcome by its beauty. For real, this is the nicest guitar i've ever seen, and I'm glad I own it.

Value:
Next best thing to a Paul Reed Smith guitar. I baught a Schecter because it was the closest I could get to a PRS. The main builder from PRS actually switched over to Schecter, which is why Schecter guitars bare similarities to PRS,(note the head, for example). Dont get me wrong, i'm not advertising for Paul Reed Smith, I'm just saying that if you're looking to get a guitar with the quality of a VERY nice PRS, look no further. I am thrilled that I got this guitar for what I paid for it, ($550, haggled the guy down from $600) and I won't need another guitar for quite some time. But when I do, it'll be a PRS, Private stock #372 ... perhaps. =)

Desirability:
"How would you rate the "sex appeal" of this product?" Sex appeal doesn't begin to describe the C1 Elite. I own the it in amber, and I am yet to find a nicer looking guitar. I walked in a guitar center, with hundreds of guitars on the wall, as well as hundreds on floorstands spread out in the main room. This guitar IMMEDIATLEY caught my eye. I feel bad for the guitars placed next to the C1 Elite, because anything else PALES in comparison, they stood NO chance. I mean take a second look at some of the simple designs on the guitar. The strings install from the back, and come out of the front of the guitar through elagant gold rings in an artsy way, the inlay around the border of the guitar is just brilliant, no other way to describe it. The finish is spectacular. The orange finish over the wood gives the guitar an amazingly stylish yet original finish. I LOVE the gold hardware. Everything is gold.

Sound:
Very warm sound, very clear notes. I find that when I take a solo, my notes come out clearer, and you can pick out tones easier, even fully distorted. The action on this guitar is low and the strings never buzz.

Ease of Use:
Incredibly easy to play. They say it's not the guitar, it's the player, but if you're coming from a lower quality instrument, (which due to the C1's quality ... pretty much any other guitar) you will learn what a guitar is supposed to sound like. When I baught my C1 Elite, I entered a whole new level of playing. I went past the 'look I can play Knockin on Heavens Doors' stage and graduated to a serious musician.

Support:
No Problems. No Worries. Thank you Schecter.

Overall:
Start off with a Squier, and if you are serious about guitars, buy the Schecter C1 Elite.
