Inspired by the Valley Arts LC custom edition guitar, the SMX-1 has all the fit and finish of a custom-built instrument. The SMX-1 features a fully bound solid Ash body with a carved arch top for maximum tone and power. The single cutaway body and recessed heel joint allows complete access to the very slick, fully bound Birds-Eye Maple neck with Ebony fretboard and carved headstock. The SMX1 is powered by Duncan designed HSS pickups and features a recessed Floyd Rose tremolo, pearl dot neck inlays, and gold hardware. This guitar was the flagship of the Valley Arts-Samick design team and it is a truly spectacular guitar. Very limited quantity.
