"The fretboard is excellent. The maple neck is thin, smooth and very fast."

Feature:
I've never broken a string on this guitar and I play with extra super light strings (.008-.038). The fretboard is excellent. The maple neck is thin, smooth and very fast.

Quality:
The guitar is good enough for anyone.

Value:
This guitar is economically priced.

Desirability:
The maple neck is smooth and very fast. I like it!

Sound:
The sound is fine. I play the guitar with a Digitech RP50 guitar modeling processor and a Fender amplifier. The sound is great. The sound is very bright and clean.

Support:
The guitar seems fine as it is.

Overall:
What do I like most about it? The fretboard is excellent. The maple neck is thin, smooth and very fast. The sound is fine.

"Deep Blue"

Feature:
Great features for this price range!

Quality:
The finish is amazing - no nicks/dents/scratches. Seems to be really well built - no neck bow etc. The only reason it gets a 6 is the center pickup was not working when it arrived - wire had not been attached - easy fix, but should have been caught by their inspected by guy! Also tone knob sounds scratchy at high volume. Another thing, change the strings, mine out of the box had bad fret buzzzzzz - a change of strings took care of it. Otherwise a beautiful guitar.

Value:
It's a bargin and probably worth retail - very easy to play and looks great!

Desirability:
Take a look at the blue and red finishes, very cool and at this price you could buy one to hang as a piece of art.

Sound:
Sound is good - alot of choices for this price range. From a jazzy sing to a metal crunch and in between this thing handles it pretty well.

Support:
Doesn't seem to be much - no manual, not much on their web site.

Overall:
Great starter to mid level guitar and the price is right - get one!

About This Product!
Description
Designed by master luthier Greg Bennett and precision built by the master craftsmen at Samick, the Interceptor Series is Greg's most aggressive guitar design and built for speed demons and soloists who prefer the added range of a 24-fret neck and a deep cutaway for complete access to the entire neck, especially the upper frets. Greg's angled back headstock design produces greater string tension for very uniform string action across the entire neck and incredible attack and sustain. All Interceptors feature a perfectly balanced and contoured body style with 25-1/2 in. scale Maple bolt-on necks, Rosewood fingerboards, precision tuners, and polished chrome hardware.

The IC-2 has a hot humbucker pickup in the bridge and single coils in the middle and neck positions for a wide range of tones. It features a 5-way pickup selector switch, single master Volume and 2 Tone controls, tremolo bridge, and a bolt-on neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The transparent-finish oak top lets the grain of the wood show through. It looks incredible!
