About This Product!
Description
Projection. HHX puts out rich, simmering tones that burn through the coolest music. Super-sized hammering and an exclusive Tone Projection feature add bite to project the musical sounds of HHX through everything from pumped-up grooves and thickly textured tracks, to guitar-heavy, high-end wailing. HHX combines the best of two worlds, Traditional Tone and Modern Projection. With HHX compromise is not an option.

The 'Air Wave' bottom featured on the HHX X-Celerator Hats eliminates airlock and produces a sound that is dark but crisp, so it's much more effective at projecting its tone than other darker sounding hi-hat designs. The 'Air Wave' bottom also increases the 'chick' sound, so while the tone remains hot and simmering, the actual stick stroke or pedal note is very precise and crisp. It is this clarity and the ease of getting a great sound from X-Celerator Hats that prompted us to introduce these HHX models, giving players, for the first time ever, a crisp, simmering, darker hi-hat sound that is ideal for everything from funk and jazz to pop and rock.
