This specialized direct box has a 1/4" Hi-Z output and XLR female input. Use it to convert a low-impedance source (like an XLR mic) to a high-impedance load.

The RapcoHorizon DBBLOXF converts low impedance source to high impedance load. Features XLR female input and 1/4-inch output. DBBLOX version also available to convert high impedance source to low impedance load with 1/4-inch output and XLR male output.
