Feature:
Being able to practice almost silently wearing headphones means I can practice in my apartment any time of the night or day. For many drummers this is like dying and going to heaven! Acoustic level band rehearsals in the living room are possible with a monitor at a low level, very convenient. On-board practice patterns are usefull.Rim shots on all the drums is great! Dynamic response on drums is great too.
Quality:
Sensational sounds. The kit will not replace my acoustic kit for live performances but is fantastic for practice, rehearsal and recording. Could set up kit part TD20, part acoustic (cymbals)for some gigs.
Value:
Very expensive. Could have bought a high-end acoustic kit with this much money but nothing else matches this kit in it's niche.
Sound:
Drums sound fantastic. Cymbals and hi-hat excellent. Great variety and possibilities for recording, especialy with onboard mixer and eight seperate outputs from the brain . Anyone slagging this kit has obviously not played one...or they are in the business of selling acoustic kits and are trying to damage the future of this kit.

Feature:
It all comes down to the "Brain" of the V-Pro...the level of customization is extraordinary...I dig the argument about not including snare stand, etc., for hefty price tag - but I still think the TD-20S is loaded!
Quality:
there's a reason this thing costs what it does...the research, development and production costs to create this masterpiece must be immense...but it certainly shows in the quality of the product...as someone said in another review, "you get what you pay for", which is a lot!
Value:
I only put a "9" instead of "10" as a nod to my starving musician bretheren...I think the value is unsurpassed, and I am an investment banker by trade and weekend warrior drummer, so cost isn't an issue...but I still understand the argument about $5 G's + being pricey...I believe it's worth the money, though, certainly...
Desirability:
The black version is straight bad ass...
Sound:
Impeccable! Second to none for an electric kit, and darn near close to rivaling an acoustic/"live" kit...
Ease of Use:
as self-explanatory as they come...assemble and beat on it...
Support:
have always found Roland to be very receptive and helpful, though I've never had issues with the products (this is my 3rd V Pro)...I usually contact Roland with technical questions and they are mighty helpful...
Overall:
Superbad! Buy one...
