It allows for expansion as well: plug in up to two optional expression pedals* for volume and drive control, and link to additional stacked amps with the Link In/Out port.

This is a great pedal for the Cube amp. The construction is solid and is well built. It gives the user full access to effects / reverb / amp modeling channels in an independent fashion. My only complaint is the cost. Roland should have brought the cost down to about half of what they are asking. With that said, I bought it anyway because I really liked the functionality it provided. The cost of this pedal is the only reason I didn't give it the highest marks.
