These keys are not only perfectly weighted--substantial, yet quick and non-fatigue-inducing--but they feature a gently graded weight increase, from treble to bass, just like on an acoustic piano's keyboard. Should you choose to provide your own accompaniment, the FP-4 is outfitted with a pair of high-quality 1/4" inserts. Use them to route a CD, MP3, or sequencer through your FP-4's speakers. You can even route a second keyboard through your FP-4, making it the center of a multi-instrument rig, or making it easy to play with another keyboardist. . . because playing with other humans can be fun, too. A MIDI-over USB jack makes the FP-4 even more versatile, turning it into a dynamic and responsive controller for software synthesizers and virtual instruments.
