The Rode Pop Shield is an acoustically transparent plosive protection filter, designed to minimise plosive sounds (hard 'P', 'B', 'T' and 'K' sounds) that produce a sudden jet of air potentially overloading the capsule and producing a 'popping' sound.

It features 360-degree rotation on both the mount and screen, in addition to the 30cm (12 in.) flexible mounting arm. The mounting clamp attaches to stands of diameter up to 25mm (1 in.).
