Feature:
The features are pretty much meat and potatos. You can run 1 0r 2 speakers mono or stereo, so you have flexibility. The secret is to run your output mono and split the signal so left goes into the unit and right goes to your direct connect speakers. Adjust your direct connect speakers to a lower volume to compensate for the level cut on the braodcast of the unit.
Quality:
A little more durability for the transmitter would be good,. but as long as you take care of it,. you'll be fine. I carry mine in a padded case. The receivers are great.
Value:
The price could be a little lower in my opinion, but for the times I have used these and needed them, they are soooo worth the money. I have been hired as a DJ for a few events because of my ability to run wireless remote speakers in addition to the mains.
Desirability:
Looking at the unit you may not think too much, but once you have used it when it needed, you'll appreciate the unit that much more. Dont discount the non-digital version either. It works just as well.
Sound:
The sound is fine as long as you are not too far (within 100 feet is great) and dont have interferrence issues. I have run into situations where there was noise from a battery back-up emergency lighting system, but if you use common sencse in the set up you can avoid potential problems. The levels drop a bit compared to a direct connect, but you can easily compensate. Again, use common sense in the set up and test before hand.
Ease of Use:
Once again, its easy to use,. just test out the relationship of sound levels between hard connect and the broadcast level. You'll need to have a strong signal going into the Phonic transmitter. MAKE SURE YOU USE THE CORRECT POWER ADAPTER!! The transmitter and receivers use different power.
Support:
Never needed support from either the manufacturer or zzounds for this product.
Overall:
I have been very happy with the product. I would replace it if anything happened. I have used other products, and this does the job just as well, with an easier set up. I like the service it allows me to provide for some weddings and DJ gigs. What I like least is the VU level difference. You need a much hotter signal going into the transmitter than what you would normally run to a powered speaker. YOU HAVE TO GO DIRECTLY FROM YOUR MIXER/PLAYER to get an adequate signal level. If you go from the mixer to the speaker and chain back to the unti the level will not be enough to get a signal. Thats the biggest downfall of the unit, but again, testing ahead of time and using common sense in your setup will take care of that for you.

Feature:
Not the digital version, but this has multiple chanels to choose from and you can set the volume level (right and left) from the transmitter. Has Stereo/mono swtich. THREE YEAR WARRANTY!
Quality:
Transmitter feels a little light and the plastc, while not cheap, isn't as heavy duty as I'd like. The receivers are better and come with a mounting bracket built in and a set of mounting bolts. May not look like much, but these little guys get it done.
Value:
For what I do (high school music teacher) the time saved by not having to take the cables, roll them out, tape them down, pull the tape back up, and roll the cable up is well worth the price.
Desirability:
I curl up with it at night and read it stories...give me a break. "Sex appeal"? It's a little box that sends a signal to two smaller boxes. Whooooo...sexy...
Sound:
Sounds every bit as good as the 95 feet of cable I now DO NOT have to run to my monitors.
Ease of Use:
Plug it in, make sure all chanels are set the same, and your off and running. Have transmitter in a Yamaha MG3214FX and recievers in a set of old Peavy's we are using as monitors. We had liftoff in about 5 min. from opening the box. Our mains are Phonic A540's with the internal version of these modules and they work like a charm as well.
Support:
Have called Phonic on unrelated purchase and they were nice enough. These things have a three year warranty!!!
Overall:
If you take care of it, it will take care of you. This thing is great and will hook up to any mixer or set of speakers or monitors. It sounds great and I have yet to have any signal crossover. And if you do, you have 10 channels to choose from.
