This solid-state 80-watt 1x12" combo packs Peavey's TransTube technology for extra punch, and independent EQ, reverb and resonance controls on each channel.

The Peavey Bandit 112 is a powerhouse of a combo amp that is filled to the brim with killer tone for all styles.

The revamped TransTube-driven Bandit 112 has footswitchable clean and lead channels with a three band EQ on each, great sounding reverb with level control and a footswitchable effects loop. Other great features include the 3 position EQ/Gain voicing switch on each channel and footswitchable boost with level control. The amp puts out a powerful 80 watts at 8 ohms into the face melting Blue Marvel speaker and a cool 100 watts at 4 ohms, so using an extension speaker is no problem! Been playing off and on for years. Been playing pretty steady the last 4. Never owned a tube amp.but I have friends who have them and I have played through them. Nothing beats a really good tube amp. But let me tell you something, this thing is close. Took some tweaking to get what I was looking for,but it didn't take long. I play mainly classic rock and NWOBM and I can most of the sounds I am looking for. The high gain channels are a bit noisy though, but I put a noise reducer in the chain and it took most of it away. The cleans are crystal clear. When I hooked up my BBE Sonic stomp this thing really came alive!..It takes pedals with no issues at all. Peavey makes some great amps and this is one of them. I don't play professionally but I have jammed with my friends band and this thing holds its own. They couldn't believe that a solid state could sound this good. They were impressed.I want to say Zzounds has awesome customer service. They beat the cheapest price out there and shipped it free. I HAD IT THE NEXT DAY!!..Cant beat that. I would highly recommend the Bandit and Zzounds if you are in the market for some new equipment.

Musical Background:

Been playing consistently for about 4 years and on and off for about 30. I dont play professionally.

Musical Style:

Classic rock, hard rock, 70's and 80's British metal.
