The basic building blocks of the TransTube® sound are the exclusive designs of the preamp and power amp. The preamp section tailors gain to meet the need for any amount of drive, from crystal clear to thick, smooth sustain. The power amp reacts just like a tube output section by responding to the preamp with natural compression that increases as the amp gets louder. With TransTube®, you get a killer amp with widely ranging dynamics and natural "grit," just like a tube amp! Learn More...

"Small little Amp with a BIG attitude."

Feature:
No accesories were included with my amp, but I do plan on getting a 4 button foot switch for it. The vintage/tube switch works as advertised and so does the clean/EFX button. Just press it once & change from one to the other. I do wish it had that foot switch included with it, but no big deal, since I can get it later.

Quality:
It seems very strong in dependablity. The finish & looks are great & I do think I can depend on it to haul outside or too other places with no problem.

Value:
Dollar for dollar, it seems a great deal.

Desirability:
Its sound is so terrific as to make you want this amp alone.

Sound:
I feel as if the sound quality of this small amp is much bigger than its size would indicate just by looking. So far I've been able to get just about any sound out of it that I could ever want, but I do feel as if the distortion is fairly weak. But that could just be my inexperience with this beauty. Not yet familar enough with what the proper settings should be. The clean channel is just that, clean. The EFX channel is extremely responsive & the special effects are fantastic. My playing seems to have improved even more since I bought it.

Ease of Use:
Extremly easy to use, but I had to read the manual a couple of times to really understand them all. (or at least most of them). The only thing I see that might be difficult with it is to learn what settings I want to use for each one of the 100+ songs that I know. Not even sure if there is a way of storing any of the combinations that I use to play certain songs without that foot switch & its presets.

Support:
2 year warranty, extended to 5 years if you feel out the enclosed card either by mail or online with Peavy. Don't know about the support itself caused thus far I've experienced no problems.

Overall:
At least 5 years or sound, if the speaker doesn't blow out or something like that.

"Just a good product. Not much more, not much less."

Feature:
I was really satisfied with the usibility, although the power switch being in the back can be a bit bothersome. All of the nobs and controls are easy to use.

Quality:
Again, I bought mine second hand and I have had it for about 3 months with absolutely no problems, granted I do not move it much. Oh yes, another of the amp's perks is that if I did so desire to move it often, it's lightweight would make it relatively easy.

Value:
Of course. I am completely satisfied. More clearly, if someone were to offer me the cash I paid for it, I would hang on to the amp instead.

Desirability:
It doesn't have platium lining or anything, just a good amp.

Sound:
Low noise and clever effects. I love it, the clean is clean and the effects provide you with anything you would want from a practice amp.

Support:
I haven't run into a situation in whichI have needed support.

Overall:
Buy it if you're looking for a good, clean sounding, lighterweight amp with cool and easy to use effects to have as part of your main practice set-up.
