Description
Ovation's 2009 Collectors' Edition strikes a perfect balance between acoustic purity and electric performance. A hand-selected figured Koa top produces a warm, full-bodied tone while it's lightweight Contour body pushes out plenty of volume. Specially designed abalone Celtic knot rosette and fingerboard inlays give the guitar distinctive aesthetic appeal, which is further accented by over 200 individual abalone sections that surround the top.
Powering the electric side is Ovation's OP Pro Studio preamp featuring exclusive "expressor"/drive controls that accentuate each individual note when playing finger style or single note passages.
OP Pro Studio w/XLR
The OP Pro Studio expands Ovation's most popular preamp with an on-board "Expressor" feature. Combining compression and an exciter, players can dial in settings that add more sustain and punch according to their playing styles. The XLR gives you a professional, balanced line connection to mixers and high-end acoustic amps.
