"If you have considered buying this bass, do it, you won't regret it"

Feature:
The features on the bass are also amazing. Though the pickups aren't active as on the Ernie Ball Stingray, the Hummbucker sounds amazing, it can produce extrememly warm tones along with J-bass and P-bass sound. There are so many things you can do with just one pickup and three knobs on this bass, it really is amazing.

Quality:
The MM2 was almost perfect exept some very minor flaws. I ended up shaving one fret down because it was a little too far of the fretboard. I found the paint on the body was also perfect, the factory even filled the pickup cavity with paint. This bass I will expect to last me for years, and I am also planning on making some modifications to it.

Value:
For the price this bass is unbeatable. Most people will tell you to go but a Squier starter pack, which is about as much as the MM2, but I own a Squier guitar, and found that they are of much poorer quality than any OLP I've played on. Spend a little more money and get the MM2, you will be thankful.

Desirability:
The looks, the curves on this bass make it the most beautiful instruments I've ever owned. I love the style and body shapes of the MM's much better than any Fender. When you play this bass it feels so much a part of you, it's really awesome.

Sound:
A great sounding bass, could be compared to basses three or four times the price.

Support:
Never had to worry about this, as my Stingray was perfect, but I am sure that OLP would have great customer support if ever needed.

Overall:
Even if these basses were $300, or even $400, I would still consider buying one. The Quality, Playability, every little aspect of this bass is perfect

""MM-2 Rocks""

Feature:
Instead of having individual volume controls for the dual coils, I Think OLP would have been better off using one volume control and a center detent panning pot like Yamaha uses for infinite blending of the two coils. That is one thing I will definately be doing to mine.

Quality:
I'm sorry to give it a low mark on quality control, but it came from the factory with three loose neck bolts, two stripped heads on the pickguard, and a very pronounced flaw in the finish. Almost like someone pulled a piece of tape off of the body just before spraying the finish coat, without cleaning that area first.

Sound:
After tweaking and playing and tightening up the three loose neck bolts putting on another set of bass strings and reworking intonation and string height, I found my MM-2 to be absolutely kick-___. It has just an incredible amount of sustain.... even when it's not plugged into an amp. I could'nt believe it! I can't give you a complete analysis of this little puppy since I just got it from you guys last week. I purchased the new natural finish and I'm in LUV. As I get more into playing it, I'll be glad to update my review.
