Sound: I've been playing StingRay 4's for several years and just added this 5 string to my collection. It sounds exactly as a StingRay should, no surprises here. I play it through a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0, Ampeg SVT, and Hartke setups. Feature: Everything you need to play bass. Ease of Use: Setup perfectly out of the box, only took me a short time to get used to the 5 string neck and string spacing. I used it on a gig 4 days after I received it. Quality: Action and neck were set up perfectly, absolutely no adjustments needed. It's obvious they are attentive to detail before these basses leave the factory. Value: It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Since I purchased mine in May 2011, the price in August 2011 has gone up $300. Manufacturer Support: Haven't needed them for any issues. The Wow Factor: It's not supposed to be sexy. However, it is one of the best 5 string basses on the market. Overall: I intend to use this bass for many years. If it gets stolen I would probably buy another.

Sound: Well I must say I love this instrument, first off it is perfect, the craftsmanship is impeccable. Can't find a flaw. It feels so comfortable and is beautiful, I got the tobacco burst , just gorgeous. The setup was high for my taste so after tweaking it it is awesome Feature: It didn't come with any wrenches Value: It wasn't cheap but you get what you pay for Manufacturer Support: haven't used it
