Product Description

An easy-to-use product that requires no programming, the MIDI Solutions Merger merges all messages appearing at either of its 2 MIDI inputs to its MIDI output.

The MIDI Solutions Merger is a 2-in 1-out MIDI Merger. All MIDI messages appearing at the two inputs are merged to the output (including System Exclusive and MIDI Time Code messages). A fast merging algorithm ensures that the MIDI data is processed with minimal delay.

The Merger is MIDI-powered, and requires no batteries or power supply to operate with most MIDI products (see FAQs - Power and FAQs - LED for more information). A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data passes through it. zZounds is an authorized dealer of MIDI Solutions products.

Sound: It's MIDI. You can't hear it. Feature: The thing has three jacks. Look elsewhere for frills. Ease of Use: If you can't figure this device out, find another hobby (sidewalk chalk comes to mind). Quality: It works; even after being thrown around, stepped on, etc. Value: If you need a merger, get this one. Short of DIY, there isn't a cheaper, better one out there. Manufacturer Support: Never had to deal with them. The Wow Factor: If you need it, you want it. If you don't need it, you certainly won't want it. Sex appeal? This is more like a genitourinary device. Overall: If this were lost or stolen I would buy it again.
