Delivering 50W RMS of Marshall power through its custom-designed 12 in. speaker, the twin channel MG50DFX delivers the goods both at home and onstage. Each footswitchable channel has its own set of tone controls for maximum flexibility. As well as producing great clean sounds, when you crank up the Clean channel's Gain control you get a raunchy, blues-tinged crunch. As you'd expect from a Marshall, the Overdrive channel has Gain to spare and also boasts the now legendary Valvestate style Contour control, which allows you to "scoop out" or "fill in" the all important mids. The specially voiced DFX section offers Chorus/Delay, Delay, Chorus and Flange effects, plus a natural sounding digital Reverb with its own individual Level control. Add to this our revolutionary FDD, footswitchable channels, a Serial Effects loop and Speaker Emulated Headphones and Line Out, plus a CD input, which allows you to plug in a CD or cassette player and jam along with your favourite artist or band and you have an unbeatable package for the price.

"Marshall is gold!"

Sound: This amp oozes that typical Marshall sound, and the FDD switch adds to it's superb sound. The clean channel is betiful - as good as a fender's clean channel. The overdrive channel is also very good. I use this amp with a fender strat and the combo is great. Feature: The features are great, with onboard Digital effects. The FDD switch (Frequent Dependant Damping) mimics an all valve amp sound, which is good. however unlike the 100 watt version of the amp, it does not have OD1 & OD2 channels. Ease of Use: yes this amplifier is very easy to use! Quality: Very good quility except for the adjusting knobs, that are slightly inperfect. Value: yep, the value is one of a kind! Manufacturer Support: Great support, as when we got it from the shop, the power adapter was not with it, so we rang up and they express posted it down, so it arrived the next day! The Wow Factor: This amp is so good looking, u may just want to go out with it! Overall: this is a great combo amp from one of the most respected amp makers. it is just great value!

Sound: Marshall amps likes to be driven. The sound comes out with a bang and sounds better when you push this amp. Feature: Effects sound great for various music but have to play the DFX volume switch at high numbers to get the true effect out. Quality: I received my amp in perfect condition and seems to be very well built. No problems Value: For the sound and quality, seems reasonable for the buck. Manufacturer Support: Haven't had to deal with this yet and hope not to. Marshall builds good quality amps, and hope to play for years without needing support. Overall: Hope to own this amp for many years. The only drawback is the fan is quite noisy. But over all very pleased. PS: Add a Marshall Bluesbreaker II footswitch to this amp and then whatch it come alive.
