The Warmth Only Mahogany Can Bring

Guitarists looking for a robust midrange sound will smile as soon as they strum the Martin 000-15M. Constructed from all solid mahogany, the guitar's top, back and sides reverberate with rich tone throughout. Today's acoustic players will appreciate this little guitar's big voice, snappy response and ability to be heard over vocals even without amplification.

A Neck Comfortable for all Styles

Like the guitar's body, the neck on the 000-15M is made of solid mahogany. It's joined to the body through a mortise/tenon neck joint which increases the neck's stability and helps foster resonance between the neck and the body. The East Indian rosewood fretboard features 20 frets at a scale length of 25.4 inches. Sporting a "low oval" profile, the neck feels somewhere between a C- and V-shape and offers a slightly slimmed fretboard with a 43 mm radius at the nut.

Appointments Made Where They Count

With a conservative approach to decor, the 000-15M is priced to be more affordable than some of Martin's other offerings. That does not mean the guitar is missing out on premium features, however. The 000-15M incorporates Martin's proven X-bracing system which creates an offset box section under read more the guitar's top to promote tonal vibrancy. The open-geared nickel tuners with Butterbean knobs not only keep up with rowdy strumming, but cap off the swampy blues aesthetic.

Sound
I won't go into how long I've played and how many guitars I've owned. Let's just say a long time....and hundreds of guitars. This is a keeper that will stay in family for generations. The first thing that hits you is the mahogany smell (think chocolate wood) as dirty as that sounds. Then you hit a chord and the room comes to life. Best sounding instrument I've ever played.
Features
I love you C.F. Martin but why not include strap buttons on the guitar? Other than need to have the strap buttons installed and getting the guitar setup (action is very high for me out of the box), everything else was great.
Ease of Use

Quality
If this thing goes to 11, I would give it an 11.
Value
All Martin's are pricey and I know some of what you pay for is the name. But you will know you are playing a Martin with this one and it's well worth the money. I like that it's stripped down without a ton of appointments that don't effect the sound anyway.
Manufacturer Support
All my experiences with Martin service dept have been great.
