Moog MF-108M Moogerfooger Cluster Flux Chorus Flanger Pedal

No longer available at zZounds
Like the other Moogerfoogers, the Cluster Flux redefines what an effects pedal can be. This time, Moog offers a chorus/flanger with a built-in LFO and more.

Moog has blurred the line between chorus, flanging, and other modulation-based effects with the Moog Music MF-108M Moogerfooger Cluster Flux chorus/flanger pedal. Like any Moogfooger stompbox, the MF-108M Cluster Flux offers purely analog circuitry in a robust metal chassis with hardwood sides for serious Moog sound and style. Plug in your guitar, or bass, or keyboard, or drum machine -- any sound source -- and see where it takes you.

Your Sonic Toolbox

The MF-108M's top panel offers six analog waveforms to choose from (including sine, triangle, square, ramp, reverse ramp, and sample and hold) and a toggle switch to select between flange and chorus modes. You can even control both positive and negative wave polarity to generate constructive or deconstructive interference on the fly. More than just a chorus pedal, Cluster Flux has the versatility to simulate flanging, tremolo, and other modulation-based effects, depending on how you set the knobs.

Pure Analog Circuitry -- Zero Digital Harshness

The MF-108M's real strength lies in its pure analog insides. With 100% analog circuitry, Cluster Flux adds a warm glow to your tone -- from a shimmer to a wobble -- without the harsh digital artifacts you get from other stompboxes. Whether you're in the market for a chorus, a flange pedal, or something entirely new, the MF-108M offers a world of tone all its own.

Moog Music MF 108M Cluster Flux Pedal

Don't be fooled by the Chorus/Flange switch. While the Moog Music Cluster Flux can conjure up a monstrous Jet Flange and sparkling Chorus sound, it also can transport you straight into another dimension.

Create an array of unique sounds with 6 wave shapes (Sine, Triangle, Square, Ramp, Reverse Ramp and Sample and Hold). Each shape is the foundation for a completely different musical inspiration. Tap in the tempo of your LFO via the TAP TEMPO button, or sync the Cluster Flux to a MIDI clock.

Positive and Negative Feedback allow you a wider range of tones and voicing than you would find in a normal stomp box. These can even be used to drive the Cluster Flux into tuned self-oscillation.

Use the Amount and Rate controls for expression and modulation of the delay line. Anything from vibrato to a jackhammer, these controls can make it happen.

Just want a little bit of an effect? Use mix control to dial in the perfect blend of original and effected signal.

Want more control? CV jacks on the back allow for control of Time, Rate, Mix, Feedback and Amount via the Moog EP-2 Expression Pedal, CV or other Moogerfoogers.

Like all Moogerfoogers, the Cluster Flux is made to work with all sound sources: Guitars, Drum Machines, Keyboards ... you name it. The Cluster Flux is of course built in the classic Moog fashion and is guranteed to give you a lifetime of musical joy!
