If you are looking for the best price on a decent set of hardware for a new or second kit, this is definitely the way to go. All the pieces are decent and totally usable and the price Zzounds is selling these for is fantastic. I spent several days researching all over the internet, and this is definitely the way to go if you are looking for max value. The pedal is surprisingly good, and actually is quite an upgrade from my current/existing pedal: loads of power & volume once I set it up. HiHat has a 3-way tension adjustment and all the stands are nice and sturdy, (not wobbly like the single-braced stuff that came with my Premier kit). Only potential negatives I can identify is that the cymbal boom is fairly short, (approx 12 inches), but I was still able to position my 20" ride where I need it, and the cymbal stands are 2 piece construction, not 3-piece, which you might prefer if you are mounting toms & cymbals on the same stand. Other than that, this stuff is great and will definitely do the job... I'm really pleased with this purchase.
