Manufacturer's Description for Lace Alumitone Deathbucker Pickup

Using patented and patent pending Lace current driven technology, the Deathbucker was designed for high output with a heavy metal drive. Extreme output with thunderous bottom end, yet crisp highs allow the player the most versatile of high output pickups. This passive design yields active pickup performance with absolutely zero noise and no need for a battery states Jeff Lace. In split mode, the unique Alumitone design is dead quiet with full range further stated Lace.

Another Deathbucker advantage is there is no volume drop in split mode and working as a single coil; noise is virtually eliminated in comparison to standard old style humbucker designs.

Deathbuckers are compatible with all guitars and other pickups. As an easy drop in replacement, the 4 conductor design needs only 250k pots. It is excellent for any playing situation from live to direct to board recording. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Lace Music Products products.

"great pup"

Sound: "better than emgs" it sounds amazing and no hum or buzz, one of the best pickups i've ever used or installed Feature: the wiring diagram that came with the pup wasnt the best but i figured it out eventually, the pup itself is small and requires a closer string spacing, again no hum! Ease of Use: drop in and play, doesnt get much easier Quality: well built, although i think the hook up wires need a little more plastic sheilding instead of just being twisted together Value: could be cheaper but great sound for the price Manufacturer Support: none needed The Wow Factor: pretty good looking item Overall: i plan on using these in more of my guitars

Sound: The reason these get a nine is because my other main guitar has vintage 1950 Trisonic pickups rebuilt by Ade adeson, who also does work for brian May amongst other. I have these in a hamiltone prototype guitar and I can tell you this, no matter what you play these pickups will do it for you. The dynamics are superb for a hot pickup. I have only played live but let me tell you, guitarists were apearing all over the place to ask about my pickups. Feature: when you split the coil, you get this strat on steroids that resonds to volume knob(guitar) changes as good as ive ever experienced. I put the two inner coils in series and lookout, they will they will rock you! Ease of Use: Its a pickup Quality: They are aluminum so they dint scratch easily, but they probably wouldnt take a solid straight on hit very well. Value: Over Priced, but so are all of this companies pickups. Manufacturer Support: No need. The Wow Factor: Very unique, but this one only comes in black. Overall: Great sounding dynamic pickup!
