Overall:
I recentlypurchased a new Taylor 314CE and put on an acoustic 6 string Kyser capo at the first fret for a minutes. WhenI removed it, it had left a very noticable indentation on the back of the neck. So much for the guarantee that it will not damage your guitar. No more Kysers for me. I'm back to my trusty Shubb Capo. KW

"BECAREFUL... Good for SOME guitars... TERRIBLE for others!"

Feature:
Strong! Here are the problems... on an acoustic with a flat playing surface, it slips down (in other words pulls the strings up toward the big E string) It will pull the e string completely off the fret board! And of course by that time, you are so out of tune with your other band members it sounds terrible. On mine the short rubber piece that holds under the guitar neck, actually slips off slowly... which is why it pulls the strings up! On an electric, it seems to play well.

Quality:
Have had it for at least 4 or 5 years... still VERY STRONG!

Value:
Fine for practice! Does good on electric... real bad for live performance with acoustic!

Sound:
If it doesn't slip, it sounds great! Holds strings tight!

Ease of Use:
Quick! Easy on / easy off! Fast to change frets...

Style of Music: Rock... and everything else... not elmo! not religious!
