Kramer Nite V Electric Guitar with Floyd Rose

Play on a true shred-machine. This Kramer features a Floyd Rose tremolo system and dual alnico V humbuckers.

Taking its cue from one of the most iconic guitar shapes in the history of rock, and updating it in classic Kramer style, the Nite V piles on the evil to embody the dark side of the midnight hour. Working from the cornerstone of a body that is distinctly chopped and contoured, this "updated-V-shaped" creation packs all the tools for gut thumping thrash and metal, with a rock-solid simplicity and a superb playability that put it at the head of the night-prowling pack. A Satin Black finish and "thorn" fingerboard inlays let all comers know that the Nite V is up to no good, and sends a stark warning to those afraid of the dark!

What counts most, though, is the solid yet sweet tone that this distinctive guitar belts out, thanks to two genuine Alnico V humbucking pickups and all the bold, ringing resonance that only a full-scale solidbody electric guitar can produce. Naturally the Nite V's fast, comfortable neck yields to your swiftest shred, and the simple, solid hardware set offers optimum sustain, or go for maximum attitude with the Nite V FR option with licensed Floyd Rose vibrato system. Venture out at Nite, tune in to the dark side, and get your thrash on!

"Kramer Nite V"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This guitar is amazing! I recieved it today for Christmas. It is weird because it is a V- style guitar and i play double cutaway guitars or semi hollow bodied guitars but style is not a factor! The nite V has great features and has great quality for it's price!

Sound
This guitar has great tone! Doing harmonics is kind of hard because of the shape of the body, but overall the sound is great!

Features
I have never used a V style body guitar in my life. This not only looks sexy, it screams beautifully with the help of the licensed floyd rose tremolo. The only problem i have with the floyd rose is that the "screw in" part of the tremolo arm was very loose and after my 2 hours of abuse, it fell out alone with the tremolo arm. The Floyd Rose does NOT go out of tune one bit. The dual Alnico Humbuckers do not buzz, they are not muddy. they are perfect. I will however, change out the stock strings with some Ernie Ball Slinkies. This is for intermediate guitarists or for pros who are on a low budget.

Ease of Use
This guitar is hard to tune, due to the fact that it has a locking floyd rose bridge, but come on! Great quality takes sacrifice. Everything is great but is not for beginner guitarists.

Quality
The Kramer Nite V is made in Indonesia and is not a cheap piece of crap Chinese firewood. The guitar has a glossy finish to it so you would need to be gentle, but read more if you take good care of it it will last a few years!

Value
For the price, this guitar is great, and can easily be mistaken as a guitar two to three times it's price.

Manufacturer Support
Haven't talked to them yet but I might ask about the tremolo arm.

The Wow Factor
This thing SCREAMS, this thing RAWRS, this thing is PERFECT! What more can you ask for from a $250 guitar? Kramer truly outdone themselves with this baddy. KEEP SHREDDING, Merry CHRISTMAS!
