Feature:
Solid, everything flows really well and i like the built-in mic.
Quality:
Dang solid, built really well. Nuff' said.
Value:
I'm on a pretty tight budget, but this was worth saving up for. Wish they could bring it down $80.
Desirability:
Yes, it's ugly. But if you NEED to boost your music sound 10 fold, get it NOW.
Sound:
Works perfect for what i use it for. I use it with a Korg Electribe, and the two just make beautiful music together.
Support:
Korg is great. Seriously.
Overall:
Love it. This is one of those pieces of equipment that i will probably never replace. But i reccomend you buy a MIDI keyboard to use with it.

Feature:
fairly basic 2 oscillator virtual analog synth, main plus is having dedicated controls for most every function. would have been nice to have extra virtual patch routing, a second filter section with better filters, and a bit more fine control over the distortion effect other than the "off/on" button provided. other than that, it is quite good for what it is.
Quality:
metal case is light but sturdy and should handle routine use without damage. fit and finish is very good, no defects at all. some comment on the plastic knobs, but as long as you don't "gorilla arm" them they should last for the lifetime of the unit. I had an MS2000R which stopped working after 5 yrs of fairly light use, so I am concerned about the same happening with the MS2000BR.
Value:
actually a bit overpriced at this point, having been on the market for several years with nothing more than a color change between the 2000 and 2000B.
Desirability:
there are "sexier", more aesthetically attractive synths on the market, but this was my first VA and alot of what initially appealed to me was the design and layout... a bit stark, utilitarian and understated.
Sound:
the synth does tend to sound a bit thin and biting in the mid to high range and bass sounds are rather cold and digital, but depending upon your needs this could be a nice contrast to a real analog or a fatter, warmer-sounding VA. the modulation sequencer can give quite a bit of moevement to a patch or arpeggio. the filter sounds a bit thin, so use of an outboard analog filtering device is recommended. works well for my uses as I tend to make more experimental music and outright noise
Ease of Use:
extremely easy to get around, most functions have a dedicated knob or switch, only a few are only accessable via menu diving but can still be found quickly with little confusion.
Support:
averaging out the support from Korg as the only time I needed to call them the item was out of warranty and they referred me to an outside repair center... not particularly helpful with the question I had at the time.
Overall:
I have several other synths and modules, but ended up replacing my defunct MS2000R with the BR, mainly due to ease and immediacy of editing.
