Overview
The Snap Jack 20 foot Guitar Cable with Straight Ends uses high end cables and neodymium magnets with 24 carat gold plated connectors. Snap Jack magnets allow for quick separation when the cable is subject to excessive tension, thereby reducing the risk of personal injury and damage to your equipment, while eliminating any obnoxious popping or screeching sounds when it snaps. "The Last Cable I Will Ever Need"
I've used this 15' cable for the past three years, ordering an extra pair of jack ends. One cable, two basses on stage. I leave a jack in each bass and at the tuner on top of the amp. Wow - is this ever efficient! No more worries about breaking plugs on amps, guitars, etc., as the cable will cleanly and without noise break away from the amp (I normally wrap the cable around the amp handle and through my strap, but if you don't, this cable can really make a difference).When the cable is snapped on (gently) to the plug, there is almost no audible pop or noise at the amp or the PA. Makes changing instruments or using a tuner on the amp (or any other cable changes) a 'snap'.Tonally, the cable seems to pass high frequencies - nice clear and crisp sound, no loss of high end like cheap cables give.
