wow!!! i had a feeling when i 1st saw this beautiful guitar,you know that tingle you get as a guy when you see that special something and can't get it out of your mind.that feeling that you know this purchase will change your life.well i was right this guitar has changed my playing so much.i have been given new hope in my learning.i went from a hand me down used&abused ibanez star maker to a cadilac.
Feature:
the features on this guitar are visable and easy to use.the chrome knobs turn smooth with no feedback,the pickup changer switch is smooth as well,the neck fits my hand like a pair of tight leather driving gloves and the action on it couldn't be smoother
the floyd-rose is sooo sweet and it is smooth as well,altough it takes some effort to get new strings on and adjusted but that to me helps me to have more integrity as a musician.
Ease of Use:
this guitar is so easy to play and the sounds that come from this beast range from clean country to distorted hard rock to smooth jazz,i have had no problem getting the tone i want from this guitar.i went from a frustrated wannabee to a confident learning guitar player.i was able to get the sounds that kept me going and inspired my realilization that i can play and play well.
Quality:
this thing is a beautiful beast.the quality is felt when you pick it up,and then as you wrap your hands around it,then reinforced by your eyes as you look over every inch,every little nich & creavice to the screws that hold it all together.not to mention the name brand products that make up the whole rig.two words quality,integrity.
Value:
now that i know how well jackson products perform as long as the purchase amount makes since to me,then it will be worth it no matter the price.
Manufacturer Support:
the only thing i can say because i havn't had to get a hold of the company again points to the fact that jackson guitars are well built pieces that contain quality parts,craftmanship,and attention to detail.jackson wants you to be satisfied with their products and i am sure that if or when i have a problem that their integrity will hold up as well.
The Wow Factor:
very attractive,i believe in love at 1st site even in material things and that color is a very important part of sex appeal along with the accessories and abilities of the product.
Overall:
i don't expect to be without this guitar,it has totally satisfied my guitar expectations.i am sure this guitar will be handed down to my son's but not before i'm gone.if i do want for another guitar it would have to be really special and using this one for trade would not be a thought at all,however i could see adding aother jackson to the collection as long as it feels as good and plays as easy and sounds as well.

Sound:
Well, first of all let me say that this was the first guitar I ever bought, so I really can't compare it to anything else I've played, but I can tell you that those who have played it and heard it say that is is great, so i will take their word on it, because I happen to agree :).
What's great about this is that it can play some of the most wonderfull-sounding tones when it is played clean over my little Randall combo-amp, so imagine how great it would sound over a half-stack! It is very versatile, with the best sounding mids and lows at both ends of the spectrum-- heavy and melodic; clean, and distorted. Really, a great piece of equipment.
Feature:
Duncan design pickups. Well, judging by how these are sort of a lower end manufacturer for Seymore Duncan, and they sound THIS good, it is safe to say that I will be in vesting in Seymore Duncan brand pickups when it comes time for me to customize my next guitar in the future. Great feature, there.
Floating bridge systems don't really matter much to me (I am a rhythm guitarist), however it IS there for someone who wants a floyd rose for this kind of a price, so you can't go wrong, there.
Ease of Use:
The problem was that this did not come with a manual where I bought it. It was a local shop, not this website, which is where I should have gotten it (I know, I know . . . ). It was my first purchase, and I didn't know any better to check and see if I had it's manual, HOWEVER, I must say that for it to not have had a manual included, I picked this thing up VERY well, and for it to be my first guitar ever, it must be very versitile and comfortable to play, because the ease of the neck movement, the comfortable action, etc. completely floored me. So yeah, it's a good buy in my opinion.
Quality:
Well, like I said earlier, the features were very well made, and the quality of the product is very good, because it's taken some abuse from me, and it's still tickin'. The playability was phenominal, and the body and materials it is made from are just beautiful to see. I own the transparent red, and damn is it a beauty.
Value:
For the price I paid for it, or even for the price offered here, you couldn't get a better deal. You get some much to the good for your money: floyd rose set-up, next-to-pro quality humbuckers, amazing finish, great sound and tone, yeah . . . you couldn't ask for more at such a low price.
Manufacturer Support:
Alright, now here is a slight low, but it may be unique only to me, so don't let this knock down your opinion of this, because it truly is an excellent guitar.
The floating tremolo at some point ended up causing the tuning to constantly fluctuate, and it was a pain to keep in tune, so I had to put a trem-setter in, which 9os fine, because I play rhythm only, anyway, so I didn't need a tremolo system after all. I never had any other problems, however, so I never even needed to contact Jackson directly. It has lasted me this long without any more problems, and that is the truth.
The Wow Factor:
Oh yeah, this thing is sexy. My friend is jealous of my axe. :-P
Overall:
Yeah, despite some tuning issues with the tremolo system, this thing has given me no problems. You won't need to change pickups or any of that typical stuff when buying non-custom guitars-- everything is top-notch right out of the packaging.
