Feature:
Everything I needed for a metal guitar. Can't think of anything you could add to this guitar for the price I paid for it. When I ordered it I wanted Cobalt Blue and the sent me Cobalt Blue Swirl. I have to send it back and swap esp. considering the Cobalt Blue Swirl is $100 more.
Quality:
Wasn't to happy when I open the box and the strings were so loose that it took me an hour to tune and as I tightened the strings I noticed the bridge was moving up also. I had to take the back piece off the guitar and seen that two of the springs were off so had to back off the strings
put the springs on and start the process over again. Seems to me to be a solid guitar and can take plenty of punishment.
Value:
for the price you can't beat the quality.
Desirability:
This guitar feels so good on you won't want to put it down.
Sound:
The sound was better than my other guitars. I own a Gibson SG 61 reissue, Fender Strat, Godin and a Kramer. I needed a guitar for when I get in the mood to play a little Metallica. It sounded great and when iron man came on from Ozzy Through my Peavey amp it sounded identical. I am getting a squeal when I take my hands off the strings but haven't had time to see where it is coming from.
Ease of Use:
Didn't get a manual with it. Guess it got lost But it is pretty simple to plug a cable into and rock. Plays great. I haven't played metal in a many of years and the ease of use made me sound like I haven't missed a lick.
Support:
Don't know yet only had the guitar 1 day.
Overall:
If something was to happen to the guitar i probably won't buy another cause there must have been a reason for it. I'd just strap my Gibson SG back on and play away.

Feature:
pretty standard, except some come with a locking tremolo that can be a pain to tune. the floyd rose seems to keep everything in tune, except you might have to raise the action a little on it if you are going to play drop C or lower. some loose parts when you get them, but nothing vital.
Quality:
probably the best brand I've come across. very well built and sturdy enough to last someone a lifetime. all hardware right down to the knobs are metal. they have a really tough coat of paint on the body and the hardware thats colored. Basically everything is well built and hard to wear out.
Value:
whatever price you buy it for you'll have to spend double to find another guitar thats just as good. double the quality for half the price.
Desirability:
i've been wanting a jackson for a few months now. But i just got one cause of the wayit plays not so much how it looks. but it does look pretty awesome.
Sound:
if you like heavy metal this is the brand you want. the pick-ups are very sensitive to the slightest nudge of a pick. no static sounds from them either. very high quality distortion pick-ups, cause thats what jackson is about.
Ease of Use:
the jumbo frets will make it easier for anybody to play. a short neck so you don't have to stretch so much. THE ACTION IS EXCELLENT! the strings run really close to the fretboard so a soft touch will do for fretting. the smooth frets make it easier to slide around.
Support:
have had a bit of trouble
Overall:
i would buy another one just to have it.
