"Get a lot for a little and a little for a lot."
Feature:
This bass has high end features, well the two they have left at the time of this review. The first they came out they were made of swamp ash like the last two here. Now there made of light ash. Glad I got mine when I did. 5 peice neck and neck through body. Huge bridge, flat, flat, flat finger board. easy to use and set. easy to set up and adjust.

Quality:
This bass was very well put together. I had one very small clear coat bubble on the inside of the upper horn, but that didn't bother me. Over time the" black chrome" bridge clouded up some. Which is why I gave an 8. Gold hardware would have been better. This bass is a tuffy like a fender.

Value:
For the street price of this bass, It's a good deal. You'll be hard pressed to find to many basses with features like this one has for such a low price.

Desirability:
No sex appeal, or any other kind of appeal. The features for the price, materals use, and brand name sells the SRX 700. If you handled it, than ease of use and playability would also sell this. Look, The color is ugly and cheesy.

Sound:
Ibanez says that this is a designed for rock bass, But I use it for worship. The sound is excellent, good growl to it. Dosen't take much to make it low bass or high bass. excellent slapping machine. Good slap sound and pop sound. The strings that you use really make a difference in the sound you want. Don't expect a Fender Jazz or P-Bass sound. remember its a rock and roll bass.

Support:
No problems ever, yet. well don't plan on having any either. have never attempted to upgrade anything about the bass.

Overall:
This bass is mine for the long haul. Remember. mine is still a swamp ash one. If anything happened to it I wouldn't replace with another one, Why? It wouldn't be made of swamp ash. The best things about this bass are the features, palyability, materials, and cost. What I don't like are color and the smoke chrome hardware,

"Ibanez SRX700 bass"
Feature:
love the dual mm-style pups, passive with active on-board EQ

Quality:
built to perfection, fit and finish beyond comparison. this is the best bass for the money i've ever seen.

Desirability:
gorgeous finish, see-through honey sunburst or whatever they're calling it now. matching headstock is a nice touch.

Sound:
Full and Fat without being too boomy, the neck-through design makes it sustain for days (even when playing in drop Db)

Support:
no experience with ibanez customer service yet. hopefully none to come...
