The Ibanez S7721PB is a meeting of Ibanez 7-string expertise and that legendary marvel of form and function, the S Series. Dramatically contrasted by smatterings of burl, a Poplar top offsets a bound Rosewood fingerboard that features jumbo frets. Lurking beneath the S Series' graceful 3-D shape is mahogany that was specifically chosen for S Series instruments. Light enough to amaze in terms of comfort, heavy enough to provide the tone and sustain that players expect from the S Series.

As the originators of the thin, fast neck, the Wizard II-7 neck is yet another achievement in playability, providing the kind of comfort that translates to responsiveness and speed. The proprietary Quantum pickups deliver a focused, vintage-meets-modern-gain response and provide an impressive palette of tone textures, capable of the full range of downtuned depth. The Fixed 7 bridge provides an super-stable anchor, and minimizing string contact and optimizing vibration.
