Equipped with all the necessary tools, like a ZR tremolo bridge and fast-playing Wizard III neck, the Ibanez S57DXQM is ready to shred. What sets this guitar apart is the naturally warm tone of its mahogany body.
Light, Sleek Body
The S570DXQM is unique in that it is constructed from mahogany and emits the unmistakably rich, dense mahogany sound -- but isn't burdened by the tonewood's weight. That's because it's part of Ibanez's S series, loved by players for strategically carved thin body guitars. Strap one on, and you can enjoy that warm mahogany sound for hours without straining your back.
3-Piece Maple Wizard II Neck
Bolted to the body is a three-piece maple neck in the thin-cut Wizard III profile. The neck's flattened shape and the guitar's deep cutaways beckon shredders to race up the 24-fret fingerboard.
Wide Tonal Palette
Three Infinity pickups make the S57DXQM a versatile instrument for guitarists who play a variety of styles. The INF1 in the neck with ceramic magnet has a warmer demeanor while the INF2 in the bridge features an Alnico-V magnet for enhanced string clarity and dynamics. An INFS1 sits in the middle position, offering single-coil sound available on its own or blended with either of the humbuckers through the guitar's five-way switching.
ZR Bridge Ready For Takeoff
Ibanez's Zero Point tremolo system improves upon traditional bridge design by using ball bearings for smoother action, and by adding two extra springs to ensure that the tremolo always returns to its center point. Adjustments are made easily by hand -- no hex wrench is required. The tremolo cavity on the S57DXQM means you can pull up or down on the bar for all kinds of whammy madness and locking tuners keep you from pulling yourself out of tune.

Featuring the ZR Tremolo
Zero Resistance technology, yet another Ibanez tremolo improvement, replaces standard knife-edge pivots with a ball-bearing based pivot joint, which provides greater tuning stability.
The ZR tremolo uses a ball-bearing based system for precision and friction-free smooth action.
This unique system stabilizes the bridge and insures tuning stability by consistently returning the tremolo to the center point (or zero point). In addition to the usual tremolo springs, the Zero Point System features two additional springs which insures the bridge's return to the center point.
The Zero Point system adjustment can be quickly set by hand-there's no need for a hex wrench.
Zero Resistance technology, yet another Ibanez tremolo improvement, replaces standard knife-edge pivots with a ball-bearing-based pivot joint, which provides greater stability. Finally, a locking tremolo that stays in tune when a string breaks!
Just unscrew the built-in intonation adjustment tool from the base and screw it into the bottom of each saddle for quick adjustments.
The locking bolt is offset from the center of the saddle, which allows easy access to the bolt without loosening the strings.
