Perfect for the performing guitarist, this guitar features an Edge Zero II tremolo and the Zero Point System for killer trem effects and tuning stability.

The Ibanez RG470MH RG Tremolo Electric Guitar can take any level of stage abuse and still look great, sound like thunder, and stay in tune. The stunning RG470MH has a fast and thin 3 piece Wizard III Maple neck, an Edge-Zero ll bridge with ZPS3 Zero Point spring system (fans of floating trem set-ups can simply remove the special stop bar), and rabid INF pickups in a hum/sing/hum configuration.

The RG Tremolo series includes many models with a variety of different features and exciting finishes. The one constant factor in all of them is the Edge Zero II tremolo with the Zero Point System, which allows for killer trem effects as well as total tuning stability. These trem-equipped guitars have ushered in a whole new way to play hard rock and metal and they continue to push the boundaries while standing up to the most abusive whammy bar users around. Lightning fast fretboard work is no problem with the Wizard neck, flat fingerboard, and jumbo frets.

Do your homework, compare everything in this price range. it boiled down to this guitar, I bought it sight unseen and my gamble payed off in spades.

Sound
The tone exceeds my expectations. Single notes are chrisp & clear & aggressive. chords are meaty, makes you sound better than you might really be. Just by buying this guitar I leveled up. Sounds better to my ear than my Les Paul with Burstbucker pros, not bad for stock pickups. Yeah...it's the sh-t.

Features
As Champ in Ancoreman said...WHAMMY!!! Its a dive bombing fool. That Trem will take you to some strange and wonderful places, way to much fun. Volume & tone knobs are solid feeling and are high quality. STAYS in tune...for days! Everything is top notch and for 500$...stole it.

Ease of Use
The action out of the box seemed to high and I was on my way to get the pro setup right away but after playing it its setup killer already, zero buzz! Very forgiving of semi sloppy play, if you miss your mark the RG has your back. Almost plays itself.

Quality
This is a high quality guitar and a great platform for upgrades. I bought it with upgrades in mind but after about 6 hours of playtime I wouldn't change a thing.

Value
Value is the one word I would use to best describe this guitar, this is no axe, it's a buzz saw!

Manufacturer Support
Forget read more em, won't need em.

The Wow Factor
Open the box, remove the packing and WOW! Your gonna be stunned with the color, (blackberry) its much deeper than the photo, the photo, any photo does no justice. After I oiled the fret board and waxed the body it looked like candy. Not the Sugar candy the stripper Candi. Dangerous curves. P.S. stay away from that Candi...bad for you.

Musical Background:
I'm ok, Jam at home, a lot.

Musical Style:
Hard rock & Hard rockin Blues. Hip Hop...yeah right.
