"Honest Recommendation"

Sound: It's a tuner. I am not fussy on whether or not something is true bypass or whathaveyou, but i detect no negligible sounds coming from this thing. I also have it hooked up from the tuner-out on my Boss PS-2. It's bypassed anyway i guess. Feature: It does everything i want it to do. the only thing is, that it doesn't have a mute function so tuning on stage is audible. While using it direct, i have found that even the slightest pluck of a string will register. It seems accurate and all that, i play with an acoustic rhythm player in my band and i am not sour against his in-guitar Fender tuner. The bright display is handy but in brighter stage lights it's a bit challenging to see depending on the angle. It's chromatic which is a plus. Ease of Use: Turn it on, pluck the string, tune. It's a tuner... Quality: As stated above, i feel that it's very accurate as a tuner. It's kind of lightly constructed but if you take care of your stuff it could be cardboard for all i care. After a few years of regular use and trucking around with this thing on my pedal board the screen shows only a few minor scuffs and scratches. Typical wear really. Value: For $20 i cannot think of a better investment in a tuner. The stomp style tuners are 5-6 times the price and the only feature i'd appreciate would be the mute function. Manufacturer Support: it's never failed me The Wow Factor: It's very bare bones. i think it's designed for exactly how i am using it or for acoustic players who want a chromatic tuner. it sits on my board, never moves and is quite happy there. but it's not the be-all end-all of tuners.

"Great looks but ridiculous as tuner!!!"

Feature: This thing SUPPOSED to be a tuner. But that's not exactly true. I find it almost IMPOSSIBLE to get in tune.This tuner needs another tuner to be in tune itself!It jumps all over the place and it shows different value every time I hit it (even I hit the same note without changing pitch or anything!!!). This thing really made me cry and it's my worst investment ever. Ease of Use: It's really easy to use but then again,there is no point using it. Quality: It's made of plastic and I am not really confident in it's quality. Overall: I give it a 3 just because cool LEDs and all that fancy light show... BUT AS A TUNER...STAY AWAY FROM THIS THING. My trueset advice.
