With the new Ibanez EWB basses, the EW series now covers practically every acoustic guitar need. EWB basses are available in both figured ash and cordia with 34-inch scale necks for clearer articulation than you get with the shorter scale necks found on most acoustic-electric basses. Exotic spalted maple wood makes each EWB20SMFE guitar unique in it's own way, due to the process of which Ibanez gets such wood.
