When Artcore guitars debuted in summer 2002, they turned the music industry upside down. No longer were full and semi-acoustic guitars just big expensive jazz boxes for jazz players. With Artcore guitars you get an amazingly affordable price plus the quality and tone you expect from Ibanez, the guitar company with over four decades of experience making full and semi-acoustic guitars. "A hands down winner!"

Feature:
Great - the pickups are a work of art; well crafted and sound great. The control knobs are smooth, as is the fret board, although, it seems a bit shorter than most other electrics. More like an acoustic.

Quality:
This is a georgeous guitar in real life. The wood grain couldn't look better under that red glaze. I have received so many compliments on the look, sound, and design of this guitar. And I've only owned it a week. The only thing I think is a bit corny is the head stock. Ibanez crafted this awesome guitar, and this stuck an acoustic style headstock on it (it looks bulky, although the tuners are nice) and then emblazened it's label all over it with some lightning bolt design. I could've passed on that. Otherwise, great guit.

Value:
I played the gibson ES-175, ES-333, and The Epiphone Dot. Tone was better (in my humble opinion) than the Gib. It also looks a hell of a lot better than those other three guitars. Finally, the sound and craftsmanship are what you'd expect out of the gibson (or name another expensive guitar), with a much better price tag.

Desirability:
read above - beautiful.

Sound:
this is my first venture into electric - I own a variety of acoustics, including an '04 Taylor 410. I am thrilled with the sound, although, to be honest, I really don't know any better. It projects well, sounds awesome plugged in, and does the mellow crunch blues that I like.

"I love this guitar!!!!"

Feature:
Personally I love the pick guard. The wood is unbelievable. By far the most beautiful guitar I've ever seen. The layout of this guitar feels really good to me. I like the way it isn't too thick and the neck feels great.

Quality:
For the price, you're getting one hell of a well crafted guitar. The finish is flawless and I expect to be playing this when I'm 100 years old and rocking out in a rest home!!

Value:
Buy it, buy it now!

Desirability:
People will freak out when they see it!!

Sound:
It has a great sound and plenty of room to adjust with 2 pickups that have separate tone and volume controls.

Support:
Haven't needed any so until I learn otherwise, 10.

Overall:
Ibanez has been around forever and it shows. This is a keeper.
