"A hands down winner!"

Sound: this is my first venture into electric - I own a variety of acoustics, including an '04 Taylor 410. I am thrilled with the sound, although, to be honest, I really don't know any better. It projects well, sounds awesome plugged in, and does the mellow crunch blues that I like. Feature: Great - the pickups are a work of art; well crafted and sound great. The control knobs are smooth, as is the fret board, although, it seems a bit shorter than most other electrics. More like an acoustic. Quality: This is a georgeous guitar in real life. The wood grain couldn't look better under that red glaze. I have received so many compliments on the look, sound, and design of this guitar. And I've only owned it a week. The only thing I think is a bit corny is the head stock. Ibanez crafted this awesome guitar, and this stuck an acoustic style headstock on it (it looks bulky, although the tuners are nice) and then emblazened it's label all over it with some lightning bolt design. I could've passed on that. Otherwise, great guit. Value: I played the gibson ES-175, ES-333, and The Epiphone Dot. Tone was better (in my humble opinion) than the Gib. It also looks a hell of a lot better than those other three guitars. Finally, the sound and craftsmanship are what you'd expect out of the gibson (or name another expensive guitar), with a much better price tag. "What A Great Guitar!"

Sound: Pickups closer to filtertrons than gibbie type paf. Good bottom and nice chime at the top. Bridge pu hot enough to do some chopping. Neck very nice for jazz. Mid position a nice blend; here is where you get the most chime. Feature: All you need for a nice box. Quality: Top notch. Have looked for defects to quibble about. Have found none. Really, attention was paid to this guitar. Value: Great guitar at a great price. The Chinese have shown they can do anything in the guitar world with this one. Manufacturer Support: Ibanez has no email at the web site. The Wow Factor: You have got to be joking. Overall: This satisfies my need for a smaller jazz box with a floating bridge, no whammy.
