Rosewood fretboard. Flame Maple top.

This is an outstanding Flame Maple, set-neck Artcore offering from Ibanez. The body top, sides and back flaunt an incredible Flame Maple finish that's a real knockout - especially in this price range! The AF85's large Mahogany body and ACH Artcore humbuckers aid in delivering a warm, complex tone with enough kick to provide the versatility you need. Other features include a bound Rosewood fingerboard, 22 large frets and a solid ART1 bridge.

Artcore Features:
Huge assortment of styles--from big and small bodied full hollows to small bodied semi-acoustics, including the classic Ibanez Talman shape

Original design Vintage Vibrato with roller saddle bridge. All the great vibe of the classic trems-with none of their traditional tuning glitches

Medium output Artcore pickups accurately reproduce the cool, complex tones of a hollow AND work well with effects

The great upper fret access and sustain of a set-in neck at the price of a bolt-on

When Artcore guitars debuted in summer 2002, they turned the music industry upside down. No longer were full and semi-acoustic guitars just big expensive jazz boxes for jazz players. With Artcore guitars you get an amazingly affordable price plus the quality and tone you expect from Ibanez, the guitar company with over 4 decades of experience making full and semi-acoustic guitars.

This is going to be baby for years to come...
Sound
I have had the privilege of owning all kinds of guitar from classical to fender. The sound quality of this guitar is very nice, but I must tell you that you should use .11 strings with the G string being round as if it was an acoustic. It will be perfect. I have used several times with several kinds of music from jazz to punk rock, it rocks.
Features
Very down to earth. The neck and the body is very strong. Being around different continens and it is firm and solid.
Quality
It speak for itself. Once I hear a great guitar player saying "it is not the guitar, but the guitarist that makes it happen". This is guitar will make you shine.
Value
I bought it for 330U$, it was a amazing deal.
