"Finally hit the nail on the head big time with this one!"

Feature:
The EQ actually is obvious in its manipulation of the sound. All functions working great and the tuner being onboard is an added bonus for me. Its short and sweet and to the point. Out of tune or in tune no crazy pitch alterations through the length of sustain. The Stock EXP strings help with this steady sustain I'm sure. Great match-up and unlike soem other folks on here I would stay with the stock strings. These were what was on the guitar when it grabbed my ears hard!

Quality:
This is staying in the case period. It is only going to be out when I'm playing. The looks demand this kind of treatment to me. It is a handsome guitar with looks and workmanship of something costing twice as much easy. It also comes with a nice set of strap knobs for a forgot to mention feature. Fit and finish are second to none I've seen.

Value:
Could cost more and still be a great purchase. (Leave it alone though!!!! We need more equipment with this low price high quality thing!

Desirability:
The looks really are eye catching especially once the price is revealed. The trim, the woods the nice little touches. It all adds up to one solid, nice looking guitar. For the womans eye my wife though it was a really beautiful guitar...not cute but beautiful!!! (these do not count agains me, they are her use of the word)

Sound:
Unplugged this sounds a bit thin but very nice. This should be expected though (thin) since the body is narrow and the focus is in it being Acoustic Electric and not just acoustic. When plugged in...WOW!!! My wife said I could not stop smiling when I was playing this. It has a soft approach with great sustain. The sound is steady and just beautiful (I've used this word twice now, exceeding my annual alotment here!). I love it and the price is well below market for the sound and the features.

Ease of Use:
It plays best for me with a soft touch because any rougher and I get some fret buzz due to the low action set-up on it ( I have a heavy thumb on the down stroke and grab a bit too much string). In other words I feel this is a sensitive guitar. I'm letting it sit out of the case for a day or two in my Houston climitized house before making any calls on getting something done about it. It didn't really seem to do this noticeably in the store but I was too busy smiling from ear to ear to probably know any different. This plays sweet.

Support:
No issues yet. Will deal with the dealer if the fret buzz is really an issue.

Overall:
Laready have Sonar purchased so we are ready to start putting this puppy to work!!! I will pass this on to my son when he is old enough and appreciative enough no question that it is a keeper.

"This Winner Offers More for Less"

Feature:
The Fishman piezo and preamp are top quality, and very flexible. In addition to separate volume knob, treble, mid, and bass sliders, the "shape" slider provides a widely adjustable audio-response contour. Has both mic (3-pin) and 1/4" output jacks.

Quality:
Fret edges are rough. Rough workmanship visible inside the soundhole. Definitely not up to the high standard of the exterior finish. Even so, and more importantly, the tuning machines are well made and smooth to operate with their oversized knobs and spindles. The factory action was, as is typical of all new guitars, way too high (handful of spaghetti). I lowered both the nut notches and the saddle height considerably. Now the action is low and fast, with no string rattle.

Value:
This Fishman piezo/preamp system sells for over $200 alone. That makes the guitar itself almost free. Don't tell anyone: This instrument should sell for a >lot< more.

Desirability:
The tangerine color is visually stunning without being glitzy. The exterior finish, front and back, is A-1 quality. Beautiful woods used and quality inlays on headstock and around soundhole. Nice binding on neck and bridge. A nylon string guitar is a truly satisfying instrument for a guitarist - of any musical persuasion - to own and play. Treat yourself to this one.

Sound:
Unamped sound volume is "medium" - about what one would expect for a body of this modest thickness. A credible instrument unamped, but do not expect to play to an arena in Madrid without sonic reinforcement. Unamped tone is rich and pleasant, but not brilliant, as is typical of nylon strings. The electric output from the Fishman under-saddle piezo ribbon pickup is well balanced string-to-string. Feedback and wolftones are not a problem.

Support:
No problems at all.

Overall:
This is one of my favorite the guitars (I have 5). I tried an Alvarez RC20SC acoustic/electric nylon string, but did not like the neck, and the controls were not as flexible.
