The AEF37 features an incredible Quilted Maple top, high-quality electronics and outstanding Ibanez AE Series playability. The AE series continues to be one of the best selling guitars in the world. Feature:
No accessories come with the guitar. The guitar is good to look at and fills good to hold.
Quality:
The finish is great. The blue and white pearl inlay in the frett neck is awsome.The guitar is made well and would handle great on the road. The tuning keys and the pick-ups are gold plated. No problem yet with discoloring.
Value:
No, it is over rated for the Hype.
Desirability:
It caught my eye the first time I saw it. The Quilted pattern and the finish are to die for.
Sound:
The IBAAEF37 has a good sound, but the action is to high. The battery holder for the pre-amp has to much slack causing the battery not to have a constant connection. I had the guitar 2 months and had to send it back for repair.
Support:
I went through the dealer who sent it back for repairs. 1 week turn around. Thats pretty good service.
Overall:
I will replace it only if the company can not lower the action on the guitar.
