The HS Kickback 15 Combo Amp offers all the newest concepts in state-of-the-art bass amplification at an extremely affordable price.

Features
Power to spare - a full 120 watts into 8 ohms.

Bipolar design for clean, crisp sound - as well as Hartke's Transient Attack(TM) circuitry, which ensures that every nuance of your bass performance is reproduced faithfully.

Three bands of high-quality equalization, allowing you to create a broad range of tonal colors for your bass instrument.

A unique contour filtering system called "Shape." This activates an equalization curve specially designed to enhance the sound of the electric bass. In addition, a Shape control enables you to continuously sweep a filter through various frequency areas in order to customize the effect of the Shape curve to the specific tonal characteristics of your particular bass instrument.

A separate headphone output which automatically mutes the speaker output, allowing the Kickback 15 to be used as a high-quality practice amp. In addition, a front-panel Direct Out enables the Kickback 15 to be easily interfaced with external sound reinforcement or recording mixing consoles.

A feedback-type input that accommodates a broad range of input levels (up to 15 volts), so that you can use the Kickback 15 with pretty much any kind of bass, from passive models to those with active circuitry.

Included is a matched Hartke 15 in., 8-ohm speaker mounted in a specially designed KickBack cabinet. When used in the KickBack position, the amp acts like an onstage "wedge" monitor, adding high frequency clarity and directionality to the sound.

Rugged construction, metal screen speaker cover, and carpeted exterior make the Kickback 15 eminently roadworthy. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Hartke products.

"I highly recommend it for small venues, practice or as a bass monitor."

Sound: This amp is to be used for either small venues, practice or as a bass monitor. It is perfect for those uses. I bought mine used and have used it at gigs 5 times per month for over three years with no problems. When we need more volume than it can handle--we come out of the Harke and go through another amp - speakers, still being able to use it as a bass monitor. Quality: I don't like the carpet, but it doesn't hurt anything. Manufacturer Support: I haven't had any problems.

"You gotta try out this little killer!!!"

Sound: After 35 years in the biz I have played or tried about everything they use in C/W, R&B, Southern Rock, and Gospel. The only reason I gave sound a 9, is my other rig. It's a Hartke 7000 bi/amp running through a custom Tone Hog cab. The lower half is two 375W Black Widows in a bandpass configuration, and the top cab is 2 Scorpion 10's. I cross the amp at 250 and have never lost a volume war with a guitar player. BUT, at 55 and being run over, I can't tote it no more.. 250 lbs. This little guy is awesome. And to all the reviews that gripe about distortion,,,,it's a 120!! Line out,,jeez.. Feature: Less is more! Three knobs and a shaper...perfect for an old guy. Ease of Use: Easy?? Look at features..just use your ears. Quality: Got mine used and in great shape. Value: I got an exceptional value. Manufacturer Support: I went to the Samson website and downloaded the complete owners manual--free. I know if I need help, they will GitRDun!! Overall: The only way I would replace this rig is something lighter came along that sounded better...don't think so.
