"Best head on the market!"

Feature:
10 band eq, tube and solid state preamps, effects loop, XLR direct out, compression. I just wish it had the crossover liked the HA5000 and the HA7000.

Quality:
I've had this head for about 4 years and I use it almost everyday. The only thing ive ever done is replace the fuse.

Value:
Best bass head on the market for the money.

Desirability:
Once you hear this head you will want it so bad you will go out and buy it as soon as you have the cash.

Sound:
The tube and solid state preamps give you the perfect mix for awesome tone and great punch. The 10 band graphic eq furthers this perfection of your sound so you sound exactly the way you want.

Support:
called hartke to find out what kind of tube is used in the preamp and they told me all the specs on the tubes they use and what tubes i can exchange it with.

Overall:
There is nothing this head can't do. There is no tone that you cant accuire with this head. Its perfect.

Hartke Model 3500 Bass Amplifier Head Customer Review

Feature:
pretty good features. the equalizer really helps the sound out a lot. and i love how you can choose solid state or tube.

Quality:
pretty sturdy. however..i plan on getting a carrying case for it. there isnt much of a layer of protection.

Value:
this is a must get for any bassist who needs a good powerful workhorse. for the price its an amazing bass head. i would recomend this to any serious bassist who needs something to get the job done, but is on a budget.

Desirability:
ive gotten nothing but compliments on the sound and looks of this bass head..mostly the sound. people are always amazed by it.

Sound:
this has to be one of the best sounding clear bass amps i have played in my life.

Support:
never had to deal with support. yet i hear its not good. :0(

Overall:
over all. this head is great for any bassist on any level. it has a ton of power and delivers a clean crisp sound. if you are a bassist on a budget..and you need something to go from gig to gig with. then this is the amp for you..not too pricey, but just the right price. i STONGLY suggest this bass head.

About This Product!
Description
Docs
The Hartke Systems Model 3500 Bass Amplifiers offers all the newest concepts in bass amplification.

Features
Power to spare - a full 350 watts into 4 ohms.

Hartke's unique Transient Attack¬ circuitry ensures that every nuance of your bass performance is reproduced faithfully.

Two Pre-Amp input knobs, allowing custom blending of tube and solid state sounds.

Ten bands of high-quality graphic equalization, allowing you to create a broad range of tonal colors for your bass instrument. A dedicated in/out button allows you to preset an equalization curve.

Two fully adjustable contour knobs (high pass and low pass) provide further control over shaping your bass sound.

A built-in compressor not only adds real "punch" to your bass sound, but also allows you to smooth out volume differences between notes.

Two independent inputs accommodate both passive and active bass guitars.

Protection relay circuitry protects connected speakers from dangerous overloading, and prevents "thumps" when powering on or off.

Effect loop send and return jacks allow you to connect to professional outboard effects processors.

An effect Balance knob enables you to adjust the relative amount of Send ("dry") versus Return ("wet") effect signal being routed to the speaker outputs.

An electronically balanced direct output provides a means of routing signal to professional mixing consoles in both live performance and recording environments. A ground loop switch helps prevent hum or buzz from entering the signal, and a pre/post switch allows the direct signal to be derived either before or after the amp EQ section.

LEDs show you the settings of the graphic equalizer in low-light environments, as well as a 2-color LED that continuously shows the status of the compression circuitry in response to your playing.

Rugged construction makes the Model 3500 eminently roadworthy.
