Feature:
Well ... Basically, it's just a piece of (heavy) metal. Not so ugly (Newbies and dumbasses saying "it's ugly" should rather look better at them and their guitars, IMHO), but, for sure, it's not a sexy thing ;)
It's also a decorative accessory.
It also has some "latex" parts to prevents scratches when you put this thing on your axe. Kinda well thought !
Quality:
It's metal => solid and resistant thing. No flaws (would be hard to have flaws on it).
Value:
AFAIK, it's the only product of this type. Nothing special to say.
Desirability:
Hmmmm ... It's not a "super sexy" item, I admit. Its design could be better, but it could have been also far worse !
Therefore, seeing it live on a guitar (like on Satriani's), it's not really ugly : it's juste a little strange, it's like another part of your instrument.
If Satriani use it, it' should necessarily be useful and efficient. And it is.
Sound:
Not the sound by itself, but rather the effect it has on the guitar's sound : richer, far longer sustain (really !), and somewhat warmer.
Ease of Use:
Just plug it, and let's go ! Simpler is impossible.
Support:
Never dealt with GrooveTubes.
Overall:
I'm curious by nature, and wanted to give this item a try.
At this time, I'm entirely satisfied The result is amazing ! (but I do have really good guitars, so it helps !) But time will tell me if I'm wrong or not.
I would have liek this item to be somewhat more sexy, though.

Sound:
I use it for my bass guitar-it helps to increase sustain on the 5th and 6th fret of the G string, frets which are notorious for poor sustain, especially on bolt-on necks. However it did cause the 4th fret of my G string to have a little less sustain with the fat finger on....
