"I will definitely be a return customer! Great prices and easy to use. Product came very quickly, and communication was excellent." - customer on August 18, 2010
Feature:
This set has a lot of ood features, but the bass drum mount tends to slip, so when I start playing hard my tom will tend to move to the side a little bit.
Quality:
I've had my set for about 9 months, and I play very hard, and i have not really had to do any thing to maintain it, other than change heads, the only down fall to it would be the bass drum mount for the tom slipping. The looks of the drums are awesome, I get complement all the time about how the set looks really good. As far as use "on the road" it's perfect, it's just small enough to move around without much trouble, i actually just got back from taking it to camp for a week.
Value:
I think this set is definetly well priced, actually I think the price is kinda cheap for the greatness of the set, so yes it would definetly be well priced.
Desirability:
I think if I didn't have the set, but I seen it at someone elses house or musical gig, I would really want it, but not knowing the product I wouldn't go out looking or this certain set.
Sound:
The sound this specific drum set makes is very good and matches my type of playing very well.
Support:
I give this a 6, only because i did not personally deal with the company myself.
Overall:
I actually believe I will probably keep this set for my whole life, I'm looking at expanding it, but as far as getting another set, I don't think i ever will, and if I do it will be in the distant future.

"If you are looking for a drum kit then get this Gretsch. You will obsess over its beauty and sound!"
Feature:
I really like the designs and the choices there are. I like that it is good quality. Just in case you play hard. I don't think that cymbals and hardware come with it but most good sets don't. That isn't bad though so then you can pick what kind of cymbals you want like Zildjin or Sabian. I would go with the Sabian XS myself but ost people would say the Zildjin is better.
Quality:
Gretsch usually has good quality. They make guitars that are like some of the best guitars they make. As long as I've heard that Gretsch is good quality them I will play them.
Value:
Well it's a Gretsch and you would think it would be expensive but for a four or five piece it is a good price.
Desirability:
I love this set. It is in my price range to. I was looking for a set that was less than $700 but no less than $500. I've always wanted a name-brand drum set and now I found a good one for a good price. I love the way everything is smaller which gives it that high pitch sound.
Sound:
I don't know but I want one because I've heard they are really good. I've also seen drummers from good and famous bands playing with them. My neighbor has a Yamaha that is a smaller size set and it's snare is awesome. The snare goes great with newre music like emo or pop punk.
Support:
Well I haven't bought anything from Gretsch before because their stuff is usually really expensive, but the drum set is very cheap for the quality. All sales-poeple want to sell their stuff so they are always freindly and helpful to ake sure you get what you want.
Overall:
I think that I would like to have this drum set for about ten years or more. If I liked it enough then when I wouuld be ready for a new one I would probably get a Gretsch but a differnent style. I would keep the drumset I was looking for a new one so that I could show it off and have two great drum sets. I would do the best that I could to keep this cet in perfect shape. I would put a blanket over it in the winter to keep it warm. It already would have a pillow in the kick drum unless i decided that I wanted a sheet in there or something. I would also clean and polish once a week every week. I would add soe new cymbals to it. Probably like as many as I can get. If cymba;s are included the I would need a chinese, crash(different size and shape), splash (different size/sound), and double kick pedal. If the cymbals don't come with the set then I will get the cymbals that show in the picture. Sabian of course. This drum set is way better than the one I have now and I haven't even played it. I have a good feeling about Gretsch drum sets though. This set would help me reach my musical goals because ithas the sound and if I added things to it, the set would be awesome and have that great pop-punk sound that I want. If this drum set was stolen from me, or I lost it, (I don't know how that could happen) I would probably buy the same thing if I had the money. I wish I knew if it came with cymbals and hardware or not. I like that it's a professional drum set that is a small size which makes the perfect sound for the music I like to play. The is nothing not to like! It's the best!
