Gretsch Catalina Club Mod sets the stage for the modern player with tonal and visual distinction. Club Mod's mahogany shells pump out deep tones from the killer set-up configuration. Black hoops and black offset lugs compliment flashy drum finishes.

Characterized by bold looks with a thunderous sound, the Club Mod is a killer drum set for modern clubs. The Club Mod series is the perfect kit to turn to when you want to turn heads with your playing and with the kit's look.

Features
20-inch depth gives extra low-end punch that can be felt as well as heard. Batter head is pre-muffled to control excessive overtones.

Staggered lugs give a custom look while still retaining consistent and even drumhead tuning.

Black hardware on lugs, hoops, tom mounts and bass drum spurs add to the Club Mod's stealthy appearance.

GTS suspension system allows rack tom to vibrate freely to maximize tone.

Evans G1 coated heads come standard with the Club Mod. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Gretsch products.

"The look, sound and usability of black widow is fantastic! I love em!"

Sound: I have own these drums now for two years and i can say i don't regret it. They sound awesome, even in the starting point with evans g1 heads, even tho i don't like the high overtones. I play rock, heavy metal and anything with these. But i think these are made for rock, the sound is more for rock music than metal. Making these sound very good, u just have to make some muffling. Use some non-overtone heads, and use some muffling too if you need. Ease of Use: This part is bit hard. Theres only 8 lugs in snare, so its not easy for everyone to tune it. But with good drumheads, some muffling and good tuning you can make them sound fantastic. Quality: The quality is very good, especially when you look the price. Look is awesome; i have never seen anything like these drums, so beautiful. So they are made very good and look nice. Value: These are much better than normal "cheaper" drums. These sound and look much better than any other drums. The price is nothing compared to its quality. Overall: Well of course I always want more and more, like every human in this earth. But even if I could get new drum set, they wouldn't take the place of these drums. The look, sound and usability is what makes these so good. I don't really need any other drum set. It would be nice, but there's really no need.
