"Buy a Guild and you will love it."
Sound: Beautiful warn sound Feature: Very nice hardshell case included Ease of Use: I love the sound of this guitar - it is a keeper. Quality: It is very well made and flawless - Great Workmanship. Value: Try buying a well made "all solid" wood guitar for less. However, I did notice last month the price went up from $500.00 to $650.00. However, it is stil a good buy. Manufacturer Support: Fender now owns Guild. I have emailed to them about a few products, and they do not answer any of my emails. Not sure why, but not good Customer Relations. The Wow Factor: The mohogany guitar is the most beautiful guitar with a high gloss shine. Overall: I have tried them all in many stores - most Big Brand named guitars where a lot more money, and still had veneer wood backs and sides. The Guild guitars (all models) are all solid wood - no veneers. This guitar is a keeper. The Guild guitar company was bought by Fender Guitar company, and Guilds are now made in China - excellent workmanship.

zZounds has verified that this customer bought this product from us. "For the price, it outshines the competition"
Sound: Best way I can describe the sound is "articulate". The bottom end is tight, the highs are clear (not shimmery) and the mid-range is a little pronounced. There is not a lot of sustain on the higher notes, but that could possibly be enhanced by string selection. Feature: Came with a decent hardshell case, which was a little out of alignment. Tuners and bridge look ok. No pickups, which is exactly what I wanted. The cheap pickguard is terrible, I wish there was an easy way to remove it. Quality: It seems to be a well made guitar. Value: A great guitar at this price point. While it might not have the shimmer of a higher priced Taylor or the low end extension of some Gibsons, it is a very solid sounding guitar that is actually favorable, in some scenerios, than those, more expensive, guitars. The Wow Factor: A lot of people love the way this guitar looks, I'm not really one of them. It's dark brown with an unnatural looking horizontal grain. It's also heavily laquered. The sound is what sold me. Overall: I was not planning on buying this guitar. Once I heard it and compaired it other acoustics, I realized that I had stumbled across a deal.
