Overview
The Gibson Les Paul Tribute to Les electric guitar pays homage to the legendary guitar and music innovator. This incredible guitar has many of the features of the original Les Pauls of the early '50s that Les worked with Gibson to build. The 1-piece mahogany body with no weight relief, dual P-90 pickups, Orange Drop capacitors and a wraparound trapeze tailpiece give you that '50s Les Paul look and tone.
Some unique touches that pay tribute to Les Paul will make the guitar really stand out. A maple veneer on the headstock features Les' photo, laser-etched. Gibson also outfitted the guitar with a Lester William Polsfuss stamped pickguard in his handwriting. All in all, the Les Paul Tribute to Les guitar is meant to be displayed for all who remember Les and his remarkable spirit. Limited run of 400 pieces worldwide.

What a great machine this old style beast is. These P90 are just outrageously diverse in the sweet and firey tones they emit. I played it for the first week just clean into a deluxe reverb as the sound was such an iconic tonic I could not fathom diluting. I would love to see it passed on from my kids to the next generation all sweat and blood soaked, gold turned greenish and faded. I doubt it but if this had been my first ax I may have stopped here.

Been playing since my first scream for air. I play most everything I can get my hands on.
Musical Style:
You name it, I love it... from opera to punk rock. If I can't love it I won't dis it.
