Of course first-class humbucking pickups, versatile electronics, and time-tested hardware don't hurt much either, while a high-gloss Antique Natural finish in genuine nitrocellulose lacquer lets it all shine through.

In addition to a top carved from highly figured Grade-AAA maple, The Les Paul All Wood presents a matching Grade-AAA maple back, between which lies a mahogany core with traditional nine-hole weight relief for superb comfort and resonance. The Grade-AAA maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard that's also bound in maple, with maple block inlays and a highly figured maple headstock facing engraved with "Gibson" and "Les Paul Model". Taking it all a step further, the guitar's truss-rod cover, control back plates, and pickup rings are all made from luscious rosewood too, while the control knobs are chrome with abalone inserts.
